Evelyn M Smith

Evelyn M. Smith, age 92 of Belle Plaine died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Hope Residence in Belle Plaine. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Lutheran Home Chapel in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Chapel on Wednesday. Evelyn was born on December 11, 1920 to Henry William and Myrtle Clara (Van Hollan) Smith in Harris Township, Itasca County, MN. She moved to the Lutheran Home in 1981. She enjoyed visits from family, collecting keys, hats and jewelry. She also enjoyed watching the birds and fish in the Hope Residence aquariums. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and a sister. She is survived by sisters Mildred and Margie.
