Fancheon Sheldon

Fancheon Sheldon, age 74 of Arlington passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28th at the Arlington United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is handling the arrangements. Fancheon Lucille was born on May 28, 1938 in York, Nebraska to Frank and Elsie (Young) Leach. On July 7, 1956 she married Wayne Sheldon in Pipestone, Mn. She was a housewife and cared for the elderly. She had a passion for reading yet most important to her was her family, especially her grandchildren. Fancheon is preceded in death by her parents; sister: Martha Hegdahl; and brother: Frank Leach. She is survived by her husband: Wayne Sheldon of Arlington; daughter: Karla Bruckschen and significant other, George Jarvis of North Carolina; grandchildren: Tiffany (Jason) Brockhoff of Arlington, Melissa (Ben) Custalow of Chanhassen, Jeffrey Bruckschen and significant other, Kelly Ungar of Arlington, Jennifer (Jason) Weber of Arlington; great grandchildren: Sommer Brockhoff, Courtney and Thomas Goethke, Jr.; sister: Elsie (Jim) Schaefer of South Dakota; Brother-in-law: Norvel (Ruth) Sheldon of Stewartville.
