Frances "Fran" Bigaouette

Frances "Fran" Bigaouette, age 90 of Belle Plaine passed away on March 19, 2018 at Chaska Heights Senior Living. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11a.m. on Saturday, March 24, at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Brian Lynch will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Friday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the Mass at church on Saturday morning. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Fran was born in Belle Plaine on March 6, 1928 to John and Rose (Ginter) Blake. She grew up in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1946. On May 27, 1947 she married Raymond Bigaouette at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fran worked various jobs throughout her life including: Norwesco Plastic in Belle Plaine, cashier at Casey's, housekeeping at Fenske Hayes Funeral Home and Auburn Manor in Chaska. She loved playing bingo, cards, shopping and going out for drives. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray, children Carol Smith and Gary Bigaouette. Fran is survived by her children, Lynette (John) Piche of Belle Plaine, Carmen (Dan) Hokeness of Victoria, Roxanne (Steve) Koch of Chaska, Suzanne Schmidt of Belle Plaine, Son-in-law, Dale Smith of Waconia, Daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Bigaouette of Belle Plaine, 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law
