Francis Alois Glisczinski, age 92 of Belle Plaine passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Central Health Care Center in LeCenter. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 3 rd at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the mass, all at the church. Interment at a later time at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Belle Plaine.
Frank was born on December 14, 1929 in LeSueur County to Michael A. and Anna (Guessen) Glisczinski. He was a life-long farmer and worked for Diamond Core Drilling in St. Paul. He served his country in the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. On November 23, 1957 Frank married Willette Menden at St. Patrick, Minnesota. He was a member of the Jessenland Township Board, the Belle Plaine Co-op, and the Scott County Tug of War team.
Frank is survived by his wife; Willette “Billie Jo” Glisczinski, children; Sue (Gary) Schmitz, Laurie (Keith) Pattison, Mark Glisczinski, Nancy (Tom) Pexa, daughter-in-law; Barb Glisczinski, 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, sister: Phyllis Deutsch and Ann Revord and other relatives and friends. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, son; Gary, and siblings.
