Frank N. Haupt

Frank N. Haupt, age 89, of Arlington, passed away at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord on Sunday, June 2, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 at church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Frank was born to Nick & Frances (Biehl) Haupt in Arlington on April 11, 1924. He grew up in Arlington & graduated from Arlington High School in 1942. Frank married Mabel Morrisette on June 22, 1948. The couple farmed & lived outside of Arlington their whole married life until they moved to Oak Terrace Assisted Living in 2010. Frank was a dairy farmer & then a crop farmer most of his life. He later worked at Big Stone Canning Co, during the corn packs. He worked his later years at Young America Corp. Frank served many years on the Arlington Creamery Board & then Tri-Ag Services Board. He was a 60 yr member of the Knights of Columbus. Frank enjoyed time spent with his family & friends. He is survived by his children, James (Margaret) Haupt of Germany, Theresa Olson of Gaylord, & Tom (Linda) Haupt of Arlington; grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott) Krueger, Katie (Tim) Joehnck, Melinda Haupt her fiancé John Wolter, & Nick Haupt; great grandchildren, Madison, Montana, Mausten, Murdock Krueger & soon to be Baby Joehnck; brother, John Haupt; brother-in-laws, Al & Joe Morrisette; sister-in-laws, Monica & MaryAlice Carlson; & many neices & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel in December of 2012; son-in-law, Ken Shaw; brother & sister-in-law, Joe & Bette Haupt; sister & brother-in-law, Bernice & Joe Nix and sister-in-law, Janet Haupt.
