Frederic "Fred" Manke

Frederic G. Manke, age 73 of Le Sueur died on Monday morning, November 9, 2020 at the Oak Terrace Living Center in Le Sueur, MN. Due to family concerns with COVID~19 virus, visitation has been POSTPONED...

Fred was born on December 20, 1946 to George and Margaret (Katzenmeyer) Manke in Le Sueur, MN.  He grew up in Le Sueur and attended Le Sueur Schools graduating in 1964.  He attended Metropolitan University in Minneapolis and served in the Minnesota National Guard. He later married Jane F. Kloeckner at St. James Catholic Church on December 28, 1979.  The couple lived in Le Sueur their entire life.  He worked as an inspector for the United States Dept. of Agriculture for many years and also farmed the family farm and retired at the age of 62.

Fred is survived by his son; Frederic (Cathy) Manke of Duluth, MN and his sister, Irene Manke of Le Sueur, MN.  He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jane Manke in March of 2020.
