Frederick R. Rusch

Frederick R. Rusch, age 66, International Falls, died on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Oak Terrace Living Center in Le Sueur, MN.  Celebration of his life will be May 13, 2022, 4:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at the Rainer Community Center, International Falls, MN.

Fred was born on August 17, 1955 to Norman and Eldora (Wagner) Rusch in International Falls, MN.  He grew up in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School.  He had some technical training after high school and moved to San Diego for a short time where he did contract work for Navy Ship Yards.  He returned home and made a long career in the Paper Mills in International Falls retiring when he became ill.  Fred enjoyed his time on Rainy Lake and spending time at the deer shack but his time spent on his Harley Davidson and taking trips with his friends all over the country was his passion.  He also enjoyed his time with his family and friends.  He moved to Oak Terrace Living Center in Le Sueur due to his illness.

He is survived by his brother James (Kathryn) Rusch of Clevland, MN.  Step-children; Kelly (Chris) Granrud of International Falls, MN and Derek Nelson of International Falls, MN.  Many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Dick (Patti) Rusch.
