Gary Glisczinski, age 59 of rural Henderson, passed away on February 19, 2018 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11a.m. on Friday, February 23rd at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Sam Perez and Fr. Brian Lynch will officiate. Visitation will be from 9-11a.m. on Friday morning at church. Interment will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Faxon Township. Gary was born in New Prague on September 12, 1958 to Frank and Billie Jo (Menden) Glisczinski. He was the oldest of five children. He graduated in 1977 from Arlington Green Isle. Gary was self-employed. On August 10, 1985 Gary was united in marriage to Barbara Fahey at Our lady of the Prairie in Belle Plaine. This marriage was blessed with five children. Gary was a member of the St. John's Assumption Church. He enjoyed playing broomball, baseball, softball, darts, bingo, cards and spending time with his grandchildren. His other passion was farming and tending to his cattle. Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives. Gary is survived by his wife Barb, Children, Brianna Glisczinski (special friend Richard) of Ellsworth, WI, Britney (Don) Lingl of Willmar, Dan Glisczinski of Henderson, Katie Glisczinski of Henderson, Paul (special friend Gabrielle) of Henderson, Grandchildren, Alex, Luke, Leah, Skye, Gavin, Lily and Tayson, Parents, Frank and Billie Jo Glisczinski of Belle Plaine, Siblings, Sue (Gary) Schmitz of Belle Plaine, Laurie (Keith) Pattison of Willmar, Mark Glisczinski of Henderson, Nancy (Tom) Pexa of Heidelberg, Father in law & Mother in law, Bob & Sue Fahey of Belle Plaine, Brothers in law, Brian (LeAnn) Fahey of Belle Plaine & Steve Fahey of Arden Hills, Many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
