Gene R. Kremin

Gene Kremin, age 77 of Belle Plaine and formerly of Carver & Chaska, passed away on October 30, 2017. Memorial service will be at 11a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. Mark Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday morning. Interment with Military Honors will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Gene was born April 16, 1940 in Milroy, MN to Ray and Janet (Geiser) Kremin. He married Patricia Johnstone on December 2, 1961 in Bedford, England. Gene served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1965. He taught English in the Hopkins High School district for 34 years. He was a Ham Radio enthusiast, loved amateur photography and traveling with their motorhome. He also enjoyed bike riding, their many rescue pets and above all time with family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and his son, Gary. Gene is survived by his wife, Pat, Daughters, Cheryl (Curt) Johnson of Belle Plaine and Kelly Kremin of Chaska; Grandchildren Brock Pavlicek, Bryn (Brandan) Salisbury and Carly Johnson. Great Grandsons, Braeden and Odin Salisbury.
