Genevieve Thibodeau

Genevieve A. Thibodeau, age 75 of Le Sueur, formerly of the Shakopee and Minneapolis area died a the Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate the Mass. Genevieve was born on March 7, 1936 to Arthur and Mathilda (Berghoff) Jeno in Faribault, MN. She attended public schools in Faribault and later married Clifford Thibodeau on July 20, 1957 in Faribault. The couple lived in Minneapolis until about 1965 before moving to Shakopee. They moved to the Le Sueur County and Le Sueur area in 1982. She was a homemaker for many years and in her later years worked at the Le Sueur Diner in Le Sueur. She is survived by her children, Timothy Thibodeau of Oak Park Hts, MN, Clifford (Carrie) Thibodeau of Shelton, NE, Robert Thibodeau of Le Sueur, MN, Debra Sumpter of New Prague, MN, Lucinda Sorensen of Chaska, MN, Joyce (John) McBride of Le Sueur, MN, Sally Thibodeau of Le Sueur, MN and Laura (Darrell) Will of Lester Prairie, MN; 15 Grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren and 2 Step-Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and Husband Clifford in 1992.
