George E. Fulghum

George Edward Fulghum, age 73 of Hertel, WI formerly of Le Sueur died on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. Memorial services will be on Saturday, April 15, 2017, NOON, Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. ~ service time at NOON. Burial with military honors will follow at Ottawa Cemetery in Ottawa, Minnesota. Lunch and fellowship to follow burial at the Caribou Gun Club south of Le Sueur. George was born on April 12, 1943 to Lloyd & Naomi (McKeller) Fulghum in St. Peter, Minnesota. He grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School. Following high school, he served in the United States Navy from 1961-1964. He returned home to the Le Sueur area and began working a 36 year working career with Dotson Company in Mankato, MN. He married Marjorie Hamilton on November 22, 1968 in Madison Lake, MN. Following a long career with Dotson Co, he worked for 5 years at Entegris in Chaska, MN. Following George's retirement, the couple moved to Hertel, Wisconsin. Survived by wife Marjorie; Children; Katheryn (Sam) Critzer of Mankato, MN; Gayland Hamilton of Kasota, MN; Susan Hamilton (Michelle MacGregor) of St. Louis Park, MN, Patricia (Joseph) Fulghum-Leckey of Winnebago, MN, Paul Fulghum of Le Sueur, MN. 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Brother, David (Bonnie) Fulghum, Alexandria, MN and Sisters; Nancy (Donovan) Bode of Superior, WI, Joyce (Laurie) Chell of Plymouth, MN and Mary (Gary) Adams of St. Peter, MN. Many Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Ruth Jones and infant brother, Donald.
