Gerald Edward Deno

Gerald E. Deno, age 82 of Le Sueur, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27 at Zion United Church of Christ. Rev. Jean Sidner will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Gerald was born on June 18, 1930 to Edward and Beatrice (Drewlow) Deno in Le Sueur. He graduated from Le Sueur High School. He worked for the Le Sueur Greenhouse, Cliff's grocery store, Onan in St. Peter and Marimel Greenhouse. He was a member of the American Legion, he enjoyed flower gardening and especially spending time with his cats. Gerald is survived by his nephew, David and his wife Dawn Deno of Bryan, TX; great-nieces, Heidi Deno of Austin, TX and Kathleen Deno of Baltimore, MD; sister-in-law, Kay Deno of Bryan, TX and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Deno.
