Gladys Ida Trepanier

Gladys I. Trepanier, age 91, passed away December 11, 2010 in the Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur, where she had been a resident for the past several years. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Gladys Pockrandt was born on November 4, 1919 to Rudolph and Selma Blume Pockrandt. She attended school in the Henderson area and upon graduation, enrolled and graduated from Nurses Training at St. Mary's in Duluth. It was there that she met her future husband, Everett Trepanier and they were married in 1943. Gladys and Everett owned and operated the local Ben Franklin Store for many years. Besides a brief residence in Florida, Gladys lived in the Le Sueur area her entire life. She loved to play Bridge, travel with Ev, as well as share in his passion for horses and being involved with the Zuhrah Shriners. She was also an active member of First Lutheran Church for many, many years. Gladys Trepanier is survived by her two sons: Michael (Dar) Trepanier of Omaha, NE and Patrick (Diane) Trepanier of Severn, MD; one brother, W.C. (Norma) Pockrandt of Sioux Falls, SD; one brother-in-law, Richard LaFevre of Le Sueur and one grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett and sister, Gloria "Toody" LaFevre. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel St. Joseph Hospice.
