Gregory G. Frank

Gregory G. Frank, age 65 of LeSueur died on April 1, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 30, 1950 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota to Bruce and Norma (Moreland) Frank. His family moved from Fairfax, Minnesota to LeSueur when Greg was a youth. He graduated from LeSueur High School in 1968. Greg married Jill Herrmann on September 12, 1970 at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. He worked as a custodian for the LeSueur Public Schools until 1993 and then worked at President Homes in Minneapolis in quality control until 1996. Greg then worked for Silgan Containers until recently retiring as a result of health issues. Greg enjoyed being on the chain gang for the Giants home football games as well as softball, bowling, amateur baseball and golfing at the LeSueur Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Jill; daughters, Alissa Thelemann of Jordan and Heather Frank of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Alex, Aidan and Sophie Thelemann and siblings, Gary (Claudia) Frank of Greenfield, OH, Mick (Chris) Frank of Roseville, Cindy Frank of Council Bluffs, IA, Tom Frank of Colorado Springs, CO and Beth (Kent) Rutz of Council Bluffs, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and mother-in-law, Lorraine Herrmann of LeSueur. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Tanya Frank. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Zion United Church of Christ and one hour prior to the services. Kolden Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements. Rev. Kent Meyer will officiate the services.
