Gwyn W. Symmes

Gwyn Woodford Symmes, age 80 of Le Sueur, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Minnesota Valley Nursing Home in Le Sueur. Memorial services will be provided at a later date in Montana. Gwyn was born on July 19, 1931 to B.C. and Dorothy (Furland) Symmes in Everett, Washington. Gwyn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline (Lane) Symmes of Le Sueur; children, Steven (Ruth) Symmes of MI, Craig (Judy) Symmes of WA, Collette (Lonnie) Crawford of MT, Bradd (Mary) Symmes of WA, and Pennie (John) Beach of MN; nine grandchildren, Kancy, Marcus, Tyler and Jacob Crawford all of MT, Kenneth, Miranda and Steven Beach all of MN, Chelsey (Chris) Christenson and Braden Symmes of WA; two great-grandchildren, Lilly of MN and Brody of WA; two sisters, Emma Fay Klotzer of WA and Dona J. Symmes of AR. He is preceded in death by both parents; four brothers, baby Symmes, Wayne, Loel and Paul Symmes; and sister, Jean (Symmes) Sawyer.
