Harold P. Goehl, age 96 formerly of rural Green Isle, died Sunday morning June 20, 2010 at the Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Green Isle. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Harold was born on April 2, 1914 to Gustav and Flora (Deterling) Goehl in Arlington Township. He was confirmed on April 1, 1928 at St. John's in Arlington. He farmed most of his life in Washington Lake of Green Isle. He married his first wife, Gertrude Fiebing on April 26, 1941 in Glencoe. Gertrude then passed away in 1946. He married his second wife, Dorothy Zoerb on July 12, 1948 in Gibbon. Dorothy then passed away in 1960. He married his third wife, Mary Margaret Wagner on December 22, 1961 in Algona, Iowa. Mary then passed away in 2000. Harold is survived by his sister-in-law, Audrey Goehl of Arlington; niece, Diane (Don) Goethke of Arlington; and many other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents; three wives, Gertrude, Dorothy and Mary; daughter, Betty Ann in 1993; grandson, John Wagner Jr. in 1989; granddaughter, JoAnn Louise Wagner in 1996; and brothers, Art, Paul and Gus.
