On December 17, 1974 he was united in marriage to Betty Ann Harms in Sioux Falls, S.D. They were blessed with a son and a daughter. Harry and Betty celebrated over 46 years of marriage.

Harry enjoyed traveling, going to classic car shows with his Road Runner, stock car races, eating out, watching the Twins, Vikings, Lynx and Gophers. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participating in sports. Blessed be his memory.
