Hazel M. Glock

Hazel M. Glock age 88 of Le Sueur died peacefully in her home on Sunday October 15th 2017. She was born on June 20th 1929 to Ernest and Mimi Brant. She attended Country School and graduated from Le Sueur High School. Hazel married Robert Glock on September 18th 1954. He proceeded her in death in 2002. They farmed in Blakeley Township in Scott County for many years and then made their home in Le Sueur. Hazel worked for over 30 years at Green Giant. After retirement she worked for Seneca seed house in Le Sueur and loved the companionship and friendship of her coworkers. Hazel enjoy going for long road trips, fishing with her husband Bob, cooking lavish meals and baking for all; but her true joy of life was spending time with her family. Hazel gave the life-saving gift of blood to the Red Cross by donating over 11 gallons during the years she was able to contribute Hazel is known by her family as a woman of divine compassion - always putting others needs before her own. She was a strong woman and although she was small she was mighty. She had great faith in God and has finally found her way home after losing her battle with cancer. Hazel survived by her children Dale Glock of Belle Plaine, Gail Spellman of Shakopee Randy Glock and special friend Jean Skluzacek of Belle Plaine, Mary (Steve Krohn) Glock of Mesa Arizona. Grandchildren Jeffrey Glock of Excelsior Minnesota, Jenny Glock and special friend David Laukkonen of Apple Valley Minnesota, Katie Glock and fiancé Steve Berg of Belle Plaine, Tony Glock of Le Sueur, and Mathew and Miranda Spellman of Belle Plaine. She was also preceded in death by her parents, infant twin daughters,and son-in-law Thomas Spellman Memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 18th with visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Le Sueur, Funeral following. Private burial services with the immediate family will be held at the Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the team at St. Croix Hospice and Mayo Healthsystem for their phenomenal support and guidance through this time.
