Helen L. Mueller

November 30, 1919 — April 25, 2014

Helen Louisa Mueller, age 94 of Chaska and formerly of Belle Plaine, died peacefully on April 25, 2014 at Auburn Manor in Chaska, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Monday, April 28 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, Rev. John Zeitler will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30-11a.m. prior to the service at church on Monday morning. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Helen was born in Hamburg on November 30, 1919 to Louis and Emma (Dreier) Hebeisen. She graduated from high school and received her teaching degree from Stevens Seminary in Glencoe. On June 18, 1941 she married Leland Lee Mueller at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg. Helen taught all eight grades in Belle Plaine Bieders District 37 School. Helen and Lee also owned and operated Lees Bar in Belle Plaine. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, horses, gardening and time with her grandchildren. They retired to winter homes in Texas and Arizona. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Reuben, Milton and Curtis, sisters, Lucille and Emily, brothers in law, Lloyd, Eddie, Clarence, Raymond and Edmund, sisters in law Evelyn, Elsie, Rose and Dorothy. She is survived by her children, Sandra Lee Martin of Shakopee, Cheryl Lee (Doug) Hanson of Minneapolis, Terence Lee (Kathy) Mueller of Shorewood, Grandchildren, Melanie, Troy, Julie, Brooks, Marshall, Lindsey, Jake, Jeremy, Nick, Laura, Blake and Krista. Great Grandchildren, Matt, Corey, Austin, Kaylee and Mason. Great Great Grandchild, Henry. Sister and Sisters in law, Viola Gould, Marie Hebeisen and Janice Hebeisen, Many Nieces and Nephews.
