Ingo V. Werner

Ingo V. Werner, age 42 of Belle Plaine, died June 20, 2016 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine, MN. Lunch will follow at Kingsway in Belle Plaine. Ingo was born on July 3, 1973 to Wilhelm & Gisela (Buerke) Werner in Kreuzau, Germany. He grew up in Kreuzau, Germany and graduated from university in Germany with a degree in Economics. After university, Ingo worked for Akzo Nobel in Duren, Germany, and also served in the German army. He came to the United States in 1998 to marry Kristin Rawlings. They were married on August 22, 1998 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Lombard, Illinois. The couple relocated to Minnesota in 1999, and settled in Belle Plaine, MN in May, 2004. Ingo worked for Pillsbury/General Mills until 2002, until he became GM of Kromer Corp in Plymouth, MN. He most recently worked for Purchasing Professionals. Ingo faithfully served and was active at Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Belle Plaine, MN. Ingo is survived by his wife, Kristin; children, Adriana, Willy, and Sophie all of Belle Plaine, MN. His mother, Gisela Werner of Germany, and brother, Guido (Bernadette) Werner of Kreuzau, Germany. Because of Ingo's reverence for the church, his family has asked that all those in attendance wear ties and dress jackets if possible. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be made to the Ingo V. Werner Supplemental Needs Trust at the State Bank of Belle Plaine.
