Irene E. Krosche

Irene E. Krosche, age 96 of Le Sueur, formerly of St. Paul, died at the Minnesota Valley Health Center on Saturday, Aug. 4. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, August 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur. There will be a 10:15 a.m. C.C.W. Rosary prior to the Mass at church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at church on Wednesday morning. Following Mass, interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate the services. Irene was born on April 30, 1916 in Lake Prairie Township in Nicollet County to John and Lena (Doktor) Krosche. She graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1934. She moved to St. Paul in 1936 and worked for Griggs & Cooper for 17 years and Sterling Plastics in West St. Paul for 25 years. She retired in 1980 and moved to Le Sueur in 2003. She had a long time member of St. Columba Catholic Church in St. Paul. She enjoyed bowling, square and ballroom dancing and playing cards. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Bones of Le Sueur. Many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 3 sisters; Philomena Morgan, Cecilia Christenson and Ruth Bratsch & infant brother Raymond Krosche.
