James Richard Stuckemeyer, age 69 of Le Sueur, formerly of Illinois, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Comfort Residence in Le Sueur. A memorial service will be held in April of 2018 in McHenry, Illinois. Jim was born on April 30, 1948 to Orval and Dorothea (Green) Stuckemeyer in Elmhurst, IL. He graduated from Hampshire High School and attended Bradley University and Elgin Community college. He was joined in marriage to Jean Brandon on February 5, 1970 in DeKalb, IL. Jim was a salesman most of his life until he founded his own company providing fire and flood restoration services. Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean; daughters, Genevieve (Les) Ballard of West Allis, WI, their children, Becca Ballard and Andrew Foy, and Maureen (Ron) Widmer of Le Sueur, their children, Kurt Stuckemeyer, Jack Widmer, Anna Widmer, and Wyatt Widmer. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Gideon Stuckemeyer, and Augustus Arroyo; siblings, Orval (Judy) Stuckemeyer, Debra (Roger) Poland, Sue (Phyllis) Deutscher, Kathy (Tom) Riley, and Harold "Bud" Stuckemeyer; special aunt and uncle, George and Dolores Steinhardt of IL; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
