Jane Trimbo Stauff, age 90 of LeSueur died on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Benedictine Living Center in St. Peter. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11 am at Zion UCC in LeSueur. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to services. Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery, LeSueur. She was born on November 11, 1924 near Cleveland, Minnesota to Fred and Hannah (Zimmerman) Wendelschafer. Jane graduated from Aitkin High School. She married Roy Trimbo on October 18, 1945 at St. Joseph's Church at Jessenland Township, near Henderson. He preceded her in death in 1972. She worked as a cheesemaker for the LeSueur Cheese Company for many years and then was a cook at the Minnesota Valley Hospital in LeSueur. Jane married Milo Stauff in March of 1984 at Nashua, IA and he preceded her in death in August of 2003. Jane was an active 70-year member of Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur and was their Temple and Cherub choir director and had also served as choir director for the youth of the Presbyterian Church. She was an active member of the PTA, school volunteer and 4-H leader. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Trimbo of LeSueur and Ruth (Ross) Heilman of Lake Jefferson; 6 grandchildren, Roy (Amy) Heilman, Jacob (Erin) Heilman and Baird (Ana) Heilman and great-grandchildren, Ruby, Emmett, Clark, Calvin, Cora and Grace Heilman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a sister, Pauline Wendt and brother, Fred Wendelschafer. Kolden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
