Janet Holly Davis

Janet H. Davis, age 66 of Ottawa, died Monday, July 14, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home, 38897 Exchange St., Le Sueur, MN, on Saturday, July 26 from 1-7 p.m. Janet was born on March 16, 1948 in Litchfield, MN. She graduated from St. Peter High School. She worked many factory jobs and retired from LSI in Le Sueur in 2011. She married DeWayne Davis on October 21, 1968. She is survived by her children, Malissa (Jason) Calhoun, Jennifer (Willy) Schmidt, Matthew (Ashley) Davis and Roxanne (Leon) Hoppe; grandchildren, DuWaine (Nella) Otto Jr., Destany (Jon) Bartz, Holly Otto, Daniel Edwards, Caitlin Schmidt, Josi Schmidt, Kylee Schmidt, Willow Schmidt, Kahlaiya Harms, Charity Manthey and Danielle Manthey; great-grandchildren, Christopher Otto, Sylus Otto, Lexi Larson, Tyson Bartz, Liberty McDonald, Jenah Eotvos, Haleigh Farley, Logan Farley, Travis Harvey and Hunter Fries; siblings, Nancy Luker, Sarah Murphy and Steve Smith; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillian Smith; husband, DeWayne Davis; great-grandson, Riley Bartz; In-laws, Earl and Hermina Davis; brothers-in-law, Larry Murphy and James Luker; sister and brother-in-law, Harold "Bud" and Phyllis Harmon.
