Jeff "Rolo" Collins

Jeff "Rolo" Collins, age 53 originally of Henderson, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1 at St. Paul's U.C.C. in Henderson with Rev. Deb Meyer officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, and one hour prior to service time on Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Jeff was born on May 27, 1965 to Thomas Collins and Helen "Josie" (Beseke) Patterson in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1983. He married Teresa "Terri" Notto on October 22, 2005 in Henderson. Jeff had a passion for helping people, and always put others needs before his own. He was someone you could count on no matter what you needed. His compassion for others was unmatched. In his mother's illness, he was her home caregiver. Jeff and his sister, Donna, saw to it that their mother would be able to remain in her home, something that meant so much to the family. Jeff was completely selfless, just ten weeks after his mother's passing he took on the role, again, as caregiver for his father. Jeff was so proud to be an uncle, and loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He will be deeply missed by all. Jeff is survived by his wife, Terri; father, Thomas; children, Cassandra (significant other, Barlow Curren) Coakley of New Orleans, LA, Dylan (significant other, Heather Jennrich) Coakley of Elk River, and Evan (significant other, Lindsay Beers) Coakley of Chanhassen; sisters, Donna (Mori) Oestreich of Henderson, Michelle (significant other, Jeremy Anderson) Collins of New Hope, and Mindi (Joey) Trigger of North Dakota; step-brother, Russell (Faith) Patterson of Le Sueur; step-sister, LaDonna Trimbo of Le Sueur; father- and mother-in-law, Len and Linda Notto of Spring Valley, WI; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jim (Julie) Notto of Henderson; Tony (Betty) Notto of Coon Rapids; and Nick (Jennifer) Notto of St. Paul; grandmother-in-law, Betty Notto of Woodbury;and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Josie; and step-father, Ray Patterson; grandparents, aunts, uncles and extended family.
