Jill Marie Hollnagel

Jill Marie Hollnagel, age 52, passed away Sunday, July 6th at her home in Le Sueur. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur. Rev. Carl Bruihler will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 at First Lutheran Church and will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in the Ottawa Cemetery. Jill was born November 17th, 1961, in St. Peter to Wally and Lois Reineke. Jill was crowned Homecoming Queen in 1979, before graduating in 1980, from St. Peter High School. Jill married Keith Hollnagel in 1981, and to this marriage was born two children, Matthew and Sarah. Jill was a proud and doting grandmother, as she loved spending time with her 4 grandchildren. She always had a picture to share. She had a passion for old movies and antiques. Jill was a real people person, who was happiest in a room full of people. She was a kind and thoughtful daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Jill worked for years at the Country Kitchen in Le Sueur. She enjoyed working with individuals with developmental disabilities. She also worked as a paraprofessional in the school systems. Most recently her time was spent at St. Anne's School. Jill is survived by son Matthew (Melissa) Hollnagel; daughter Sarah (Dan) Straub; grandchildren Finley and Branlin Hollnagel and Kyan and Greta Straub. Other survivors include her father Wally Reineke; sister Julie Dupuis; nephews Brian Dupuis, Trevor LeRoss and Jeremiah Fettig; nieces Liz Baird, Dena Dupuis and Lindsey LeRoss. Survived also by special friend Keith Slack. Jill is preceded in death by her mother Lois Reineke; brothers Jeff Reineke, and Joe Reineke; sister Jan LeRoss.
