Jocelyn Huettl

Jocelyn M. Huettl, 58 of Belle Plaine, MN passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Prayer service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 P. M. Deacon Mike Daly will officiate.

Jocelyn was born on March 30, 1966 in Pasay City, Manila in the Philippines to Diolito Merced and Avelina Santos.  She grew up in the Philippines where her son Jeremy was born.  In 1997, she went to Malaysia where she worked as an office manager and interpreter for a Chinese clothing company. She moved to the United States in 2018 when she married Michael Huettl.  They lived in Belle Plaine where she worked at Bell Pharmaceuticals. She enjoyed fishing in North Dakota, Zumba, playing with children, cooking and life in general, she was and still is the sunshine in everyone’s life who knew her. She will be deeply missed by anyone who knew her.  Jocelyn is preceded in death by both her parents.

Jocelyn is survived by her husband, Michael of Belle Plaine, Son, Jeremy De Nava, her sisters Gemma Del Rosario, Daisy Busa, Josephine Barrera, Annamarie Palania and brothers Romero Merced and Diolito Merced jr. of the Philippines.
