Jodi Kay Hafemann Boisjolie was born on 1/21/76 to Robert and Lois Hafemann in New Prague, MN.  She passed peacefully at our camper in Waterville surrounded by family.  This was her favorite place to be.  Jodi battled breast cancer three different times since 2015.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Le Sueur, MN.  Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m. and the morning of the Mass at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:15 a.m.  We will then process to St. Anne’s Church for the 10:30 a.m. Mass followed by Calvary Cemetery for burial services.  Masks and distancing will be required at the funeral home, church and cemetery.

Jodi went to school in Belle Plaine and graduated in 1994.  She continued on to Mankato to pursue a degree in Sales and Marketing.  After many years, she went back to school graduating in 2015 with a degree in child development.  Her dream had always been to teach, which she did until falling ill shortly after obtaining her degree.

Jodi met Chad Boisjolie in 2002 and they married on October 9, 2004 in Le Center, Minnesota.  She was the step-mother of Liz Boisjolie (Austin) mother to Mark, Ty, and Hayden Boisjolie.  Jodi loved watching all the kids at events whether it was going to a play for Liz or yelling from the bleachers while Mark, Ty and Hayden wrestled, or quietly watching Hayden in a dance recital.  She loved the lake life and the friendships that she and Chad made there.  She was active in the community and loved to give back like she did with her involvement with Best Christmas Ever and many other activities.

Jodi is survived by her husband Chad, step daughter Liz (Austin), children Mark, Ty and Hayden.  She is also survived by her brother Cory (Jessica) Hafemann and their 2 children Grady and Sawyer.  Jodi is also survived by brother in law Paul (Vanessa) Boisjolie along with their 2 children Emma and Brady, her sister in law Joyce (Chris) Lembcke and their children Hunter, Honor, and Isabella, and her mother in law Susan Boisjolie. Jodi was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Lois Hafemann and her father in law Mark Boisjolie.
