John "Jack" A. Mount

John "Jack" Mount, age 73 of Le Sueur, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at his home in Le Sueur after fighting his cancer for over two years. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur with lunch following at the Le Sueur Country Club. Interment will be at a later date. John was born on December 23, 1937 to Dale and Elizabeth (Pritchard) Mount in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He moved to Le Sueur from St. Paul when he was in the 7th grade. He graduated from the Le Sueur High School in 1956. After retiring from twenty six years with the Air Force he attended and graduated from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska with a bachelor's degree in business. He then worked for the Marriott Corporation. He was the commander of the Le Sueur VFW Post 4297 for four years and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed golf and being with family and friends. John is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Deborah (Ray) Dixon of Lynnhaven, FL and Claudia (Bill) Miller of Plymouth, MN; son, Robert (Richel) Mount of Amery, WI; 6 grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter and 1 great-grandson; brother, George (Susan) Mount; sister, Joanne (Pete) Huberty; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Elizabeth Mount.
