John A. Krebsbach, age 83 of Arlington, died on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be on Friday, November 25, at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington from 4:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:00 p.m. with a Knights of Columbus Rosary. Visitation will continue at church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery. Fr. Keith Salisbury and Fr. Nathaniel Meyers will be co-officiating the services. John was born on March 1, 1933 in Stewart, MN to Alphonse & Gertrude (Krippner) Krebsbach. He attended Stewart Schools and left for North Dakota at a young age to work on building power line towers. He entered the United States Army in January of 1953 and returned home in January of 1956. He married Dolores Dittrich on August 31, 1957 at St. Boniface Church in St. Bonifacius, MN. The couple lived in St. Bonifacius and Glencoe for a short time before moving to Arlington, MN in 1961. John began a long career with American Breeders Service, (A.B.S.) in 1961 and left the company in 1996. He worked at the Dueber's Warehouse in Norwood for about 10 years before retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Arlington V.F.W, Gaylord Food Shelf and other community activities. He is survived by his wife, Dolores. Sons, Peter (Patti) Krebsbach of Delano, MN; Joe (Joan) Krebsbach of Shakopee, MN and Robert (Lisa) Krebsbach of Buffalo, MN. Grandchildren; Kayla Krebsbach & fiancé Chad Daniels, Sara Krebsbach, Kristen (John) Fritz, Robert Beyer, Andrew (Siera) Romine, Thomas Romine and Robb Romine and his fiancée Chania. Sister, Bernie (John) Griep of Hutchinson, MN. Memorials preferred.
