John T. Luskey

John T. Luskey, age 82 of Le Sueur, formerly of Green Isle and Jessenland gave his final lesson of complete and utter love at his home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be Friday, January 8, at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur starting at 4:00 p.m. and conclude with at Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery, Le Sueur. John was born on July 15, 1933 to John L. and Clara Luskey in Blakely Township. He grew up in the Jessenland area. He entered the United States Army, serving from 1953 - 1955. He then began his long career with MNDOT. He is survived by his love, nurse and wife, Dorothy; Daughters; Brigid, Kathleen, Nora and Molly. Sons in Love; Darren Uetz, Chuck Broste and Vinny Headd. Siblings; Rose Heimkes, Joe (Judy) Luskey, Betty Drucker, Bill (Joyce) Luskey Jim Luskey and Sister-in-law Jan Luskey. Also, family and friends too numerous to tally. Thank you to the Mayo Hospice Program all their love, compassion and support. Our grief is great but our joy of having loved Him is greater. Many called him friend, some called him brother, only four were chosen to call him Dad. "Don't behave, wait ‘til you get to be 100".
