Jon E. Jutila

Jon E Jutila was born May 9, 1961 to E Joyce (Ostreim) and E Elmer Jutila in Le Sueur, MN.  He died on September 13, 2021.

Jon enjoyed many sports, especially playing hockey in high school.  Jon graduated from Le Sueur High School and the University of Minnesota, Duluth.  His career was as an investment broker.  Once he started working in the Twin Cities, Jon settled in Maple Grove, opening up his home to friends and family.  Jon enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Father and many friends. As a Family, we worked on many projects at “the lake”, but found time to golf, fish, swim, and enjoy the sauna.  Always by his side was one of his springer spaniels; Flikka, Koivu, and Lilly. Jon loved his dogs.

Jon was baptized and raised in The Presbyterian Church of Le Sueur.  He, with his Mother and Sister attended the closing service of this congregation.  Jon expressed his desire to spend more time at West Fox Lake and become a member of Crosslake Presbyterian Church, but sadly these did not happen.

Jon was preceded in death by his Father and Brother, Erik.  He is survived by his Mother and Sister, Rev. Kari Jutila.  A Memorial Service will be held at Mound Cemetery May 21 at 2:00 p.m.  Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or the National Loon Center of Crosslake, MN.
