Jorge Trejo Aguilar

January 20, 1974 — May 23, 2026

Belle Plaine

Jorge Trejo Aguilar, 52, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. A Celebration of Life and Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine will take place Friday, May 29th at 10:00 AM.

Jorge was born in Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Jorge carried his roots and culture proudly throughout his life. For more than 25 years, Minnesota became his home, where he built a beautiful life centered around family, friendship, and love.

Jorge was a loving husband, devoted father, loyal friend, and a man whose kindness touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Eva Trejo; his mother, Blasa Aguilar Moreno (76); his siblings, Víctor Trejo, Juan José Aguilar, Berna Enríquez, Maribel Enríquez, Veronica Enríquez, and Francisco Enríquez; and his children: Emanuel Ramos (28), Edna Mejia-Trejo (27), Jorge Trejo-Zavala (24), America Trejo-Zavala (19), Jared Trejo-Zavala (17), Benjamin Trejo-Zavala (14), and David Trejo-Zavala (12) and many nieces and nephews. His children were his pride and greatest accomplishment, and everything he did in life was for his family. Jorge was also a proud grandparent to his two beloved grand kitties, Reign and Lorenza, and his grand doggy, Larry, who brought him endless joy and laughter.

Jorge was known for his warm heart, contagious laughter, and ability to make friends wherever he went. He loved spending time with his soccer team, Los Mustangs, playing every Friday and Saturday doing something he truly loved. He also enjoyed fishing with his sons and going out to the casino with his daughters, creating memories that his family will cherish forever. Whether with family, friends, or teammates, Jorge lived life fully and left a lasting impact on everyone blessed enough to know him.

Although his passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his love, strength, and memories will live on forever. Minnesota became the place Jorge called home, and Belle Plaine — the place closest to his children and family — is where he will be laid to rest.

In honor of Jorge and the beautiful life he lived, the family kindly asks guests not to wear black, as this will be a celebration of his life, love, and legacy.
