Joseph Deutsch

Joseph Francis Deutsch, age 92 of LeSueur died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Minnesota Valley Health Care Center in LeSueur. He was born on January 28, 1924 in Cordova Township, LeSueur County to Thomas and Elizabeth (Sautter) Deutsch. He attended country school near St. Thomas, Minnesota and later entered the U.S. Army during World War II. Joe married Dorothy Denzer on September 25, 1946 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in LeSueur. He worked for many years for the Green Giant Company in the warehouse. He was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by son, Thomas (Suzanne) Deutsch of Prior Lake and daughter, Patricia (Don) Denzer of Savage and daughter-in-law, Vicky Vogel of LeSueur; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Norma May of LeSueur and Sr. Shirley Deutsch of Stillwater. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2012, son, Greg Deutsch and 7 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11 A.M. St. Anne's Church in LeSueur with interment in St. Anne's Cemetery in LeSueur. Military Rites will be provided by the LeSueur Honor Guard. Visitation is one hour prior to the services at the church.
