Joyce Elaine Buck

Joyce Elaine Buck, age 77 of Henderson, Minnesota, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Sibley Medical Center in Arlington. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Henderson. Memorial services will begin at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow the service at Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Joyce was born on December 9, 1933 to Albert and Flossie (Pippert) Schubert in Milford, Iowa. Her family later moved to Belle Plaine, Minnesota, where she graduated from high school. Joyce married LeRoy Buck on February 16, 1957 in Henderson and they made their home in rural Henderson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed traveling, bird watching, flower gardening, reading and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughters. Joyce is survived by her husband, LeRoy Buck; children, Daniel (Suzanne) Buck of Henderson, Lisa (Glen) Tesch of Henderson, Kevin (Anita) Buck of Harrodsburg, KY, Jeffrey (Christine) Buck of Steamboat Springs, CO and Michelle (Lupe) Lopez of Le Sueur; 8 grandchildren, David Buck, Emily (Nathaniel) Doehling, Andrew Tesch, Alyssa Tesch, Diesel Buck, Corey Buck, Joshua Buck and Kelsey Hagen; 2 great grandchildren, Ella and Nora Doehling; 2 sisters, Dorothy Culbert of Le Sueur and Shirley Mediger of Henderson. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marlys McCullough and two daughters, Lori and Linda Buck.
