Judith Ann Schultz

Our beloved wife and mother, Judith "Judy" Ann Schultz, age 77 of Belle Plaine, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday evening, March 2, 2018, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, with Rev. Tim Redfield officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Judy was born in Falls City, Nebraska to Paul and Vivian Huettner. She attended school in Santa Monica, California and high school at Victorville, California. She married William "Bill" Schultz on July 30, 1960 at Zion Lutheran Church in Victorville and made their home there for the next seven years. After moving to Belle Plaine, she raised her family while working several jobs including The Lutheran Home, Norwesco, Green Giant, Trinity Church Secretary, House Cleaning, Kallestad Laboratories, and Hardee's. Judy enjoyed the lake trips with her family, sewing, painting ceramics, traveling, antiquing, bowling, and working on her family tree. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, her children, Joann (Al) Pomije of New Prague, Nancy Wuollet of Fairfax, SD, Sandra (Gil) Hernandez of New Prague, and Troy (Sara) Schultz of Belle Plaine, her sisters, Sharon Norris of Asheville, NC, Kathy Schultz of Apple Valley, CA, and Lynn Morrow of Phoenix, AZ, sister-in-law, Lori (Fred) Bohnsack, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son in infancy, Paul, 2 brothers-in-law, Hank Norris and Dan "Lefty" Schultz, sister-in-law, Gretchen Carlson, and other relatives.
