Judith Ann Pfarr, age 73 of LeSueur died peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Mayo Health Care System in Mankato. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. on May 13 at St. Anne's Church in LeSueur, MN. Father Andrew Stueve will celebrate the Mass, and burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and a CCW Rosary will begin the visitation at 4 p.m. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Pfarr of LeSueur; sons, Larry of Minneapolis, Douglas (Sara); daughters, Brenda (Brian) Brandt of LeSueur, Barbara (Chris) Klaseus of St. Peter and grandchildren, Kelsey, Riley, Casey, Colby and Lainey Brandt; Adam, Ryan, Luke and Chad Pfarr; Ethan and Noah Klaseus; sisters - Susie (John) Smisek and Roxann (Dean Wintheiser) Jelinek, sister-in-law - Darlene Krocak and many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents (Louis and Adaline Krocak), brother (Ken Krocak) and grandson (Kyle Pfarr). She was united in marriage to Donald Pfarr on September 8, 1962 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, MN. The couple was blessed with four children whom they raised in rural LeSueur. Besides her work in the home as a loving mother and home-maker, Judy helped on the farm and was active in the LeSueur County Pioneer Power Association and St. Anne's Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Wonderful family memories were made over the years celebrating holidays. Judy may be gone from this life, but her soul is at peace, and her memory will stay in the heart of those who knew her forever. Judy's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter, Abbot Northwestern Hospital, and Mayo Hospital for the kind, loving, and compassionate care.
