Judy R. Puttin

Judith "Judy" R. (Smith) Puttin, age 72 of Le Sueur, died the morning of November 7, 2014 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Graveside services will be private at Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur. Judy was born on September 25, 1942 to Kenneth and Dorothy (Jurgens) Smith in Le Sueur, MN. She attended Le Sueur schools and graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1960. After high school, she moved to the Albert Lea, MN area. In the following years she would work various jobs, but she most enjoyed her time as a Nursing Assistant. Judy married Andy Puttin on September 23, 1995 in Bullhead City, AZ, and the couple returned to Le Sueur. A devoted mother and grandmother, Judy loved to care for her family, especially her granddaughter. She also loved baking and always had treats on hand for her family and any visitors. Judy will be remembered for the unending kindness and generosity she showed to those she loved, along with her spunky spirit. Judy is survived by her husband Andy of Le Sueur; son, Jeff Paulson of Hartland, MN; daughter, Amy (Mike) Mansmith of Southern Pines, NC; granddaughter, Kristal Jameson (Josh Baseman) of St. Paul, MN; siblings Jack Smith and Susi (Dan) Otting of Le Sueur; brother Tom (Cindy) Smith of Le Center, MN; sisters-in-law Dorothy Smith and Pearl Smith of Le Sueur; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Kenneth Smith Jr., Jim Smith, Peter Smith, and Dorothy Barron.
