June M. Schultz

June Mary Schultz, age 82 of Maple Plain and formerly of Henderson died on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She was born on June 4, 1928 in Henderson, Minnesota to George and Pauline (Oldenburg) Jents. She attended Henderson schools and married Alvin Schultz on April 5, 1946 at St. Paul's Church in Henderson. They farmed near Henderson for many years. She had also worked for Green Giant seasonally, St. Peter State Hospital, ADC and for Harold and Marge Smith at Henderson Drug. They later moved to Henderson. Alvin preceded her in death in October of 2004. They had lived in New Prague for a time and most recently she has lived with her daughter in Maple Plaine. She was a wonderful cook and baker and enjoyed gardening and canning. She was an avid Twins fan, enjoyed walking and was a very active in the St. Paul's Church and Ladies Guild. She is survived by her daughters, Barb (John) Cordell of Park Rapids and Deb (Doug) Swanson of Maple Plaine. 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren. 3 sisters also survive, Marion Adams of LeSueur, Dorothy Ehlers of Henderson and Lorain Czech of Prior Lake. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Kolden Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
