Karen Berg-Hobbs

Karen Sue (Chrisman) Berg-Hobbs, age 74, of Belle Plaine, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN. A memorial service for Karen will be held at 5pm on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Karen was born on July 15, 1950, to Clayton and Mildred (Loveless) Chrisman in California at a naval base. She grew up in Michigan with her six siblings. After high school, Karen worked various management jobs. She loved doing ceramics and adored her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Nicole Oldenburg of New Prague, and sons, Robert and Mark Berg, and grandchildren, Shelbi, Alex, Zach and Susan. Sister Sandy Anderson, Brothers Kim (Karen) Chrisman, Norman Chrisman, Jeff (Robin) Chrisman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Clay and sister, Cindy.
