Karen Ann Ruff

Karen Ann Ruff, age 74 of St. Peter, formerly of Le Sueur, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Mayo Health Systems in Mankato.  Memorial service will be on Friday, June 10, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. that morning.  Burial will be at a later date.

Karen was born on May 4, 1948 to Francis and Christine (Johnson) Munson in Kenosha, WI.  The family relocated a lot because of her father’s military services.  She settled in rural Henderson after her marriage to Carl Ruff, they later divorced.  She raised her family in Le Sueur and worked at Telex and ADC.  She enjoyed crafts, sewing, embroidery, playing cards, Holidays and time with her family and grandkids.

She is survived by her children; Angie (Jason) Black of Nicollet, MN and Eric (Jennifer) Ruff of New Ulm, MN.  Brother, Dennis Munson of Minneapolis and grandchildren; Aaron Black and his fiancé’ Jesseah Martin and Mitchell Black.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Olga Munson and former husband, Carl in 2012.
