Katherine Louise Dressel

Katherine L. Dressel, age 84 of Le Sueur, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 9-11 A.M. at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Funeral Service will start at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Luncheon to follow at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur, MN in their social hall. In honor of Katherine’s memory, guests are encouraged to wear anything  Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves or NASCAR attire.

Katherine was born on September 4, 1940 to Kenneth and Nelva (Stein) Schultz in Mound, Minnesota. She grew up in Mound until her family moved to Hopkins, MN where she would graduate high school. Following high school, Katherine worked various jobs around the Le Sueur area but her most memorable job was being a health aide for the State of MN in various hospitals. She married Richard Dressel at Zion United Church of Christ in April of 2016 after spending several years by each other’s side. Katherine will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, and strong sense of loyalty to those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Nelva; son, Brian Harrison; and brother, John (Juanita) Schultz.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Richard Dressel of Le Sueur; children, Robert Harrison of WI, Lynn Beaty of Kasota, MN, and Kenneth (Catherine) Fennema of Fredericksburg, VA, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Nelva (Glendon) Reddemann of Prior Lake, MN.
