Kathleen "Katie" Feil

Kathleen "Katie" Feil, age 88 of Gaylord, formerly of Arlington, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Fr. Keith Salisbury will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to mass at the church. Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Arlington. Katie was born on August 14, 1923 to Charles and Nora (Ryan) Schafer in Arlington. She graduated from Arlington High School. She then attended St. Scholastica. She married Wayne Feil on November 18, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. She worked many years at Noack and Son's and also as assistant administrator at Arlington Community Hospital. She enjoyed traveling the world and also working on arts and crafts. Katie is survived by her husband, Wayne; brothers-in-law, David (Marion) Feil of Park Rapids and Francis (Janice) Feil of Shevlin; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
