Kathleen Geiser

Kathleen M. Lambrecht Geiser, age 77 of Belle Plaine, MN left on wings of anglels surrounded by family and Irish music on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN after a short illness. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Belle Plaine, MN. Irish wake will be Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to the wee hours of the morning, at her daughter's farm (Mary Nesgoda), 30627 Pumpkin Hill Rd, Le Sueur, MN. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul, MN on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Kathleen was born October 19, 1938 in St. Paul, MN. Kathleen was a thirteen year "Aggie" and Graduated from St. Agnes High School, St. Paul in 1956. She graduated from the University of Minnesota. She married Richard Lambrecht at St. Agnes Catholic Church in St. Paul on August 9, 1958. She was a devoted mother at raising her three children and was a loving foster mother to many others over the years. Later, Kathleen worked in the Dept. of Labor & Industry for the State of Minnesota. She moved to Belle Plaine, MN in 2004. She enjoyed learning, reading, sewing, music and knitting. Kathleen is survived by her children, Liz (Michael TerSteeg) Lambrecht of St. Paul, MN; Mary (Steve) Nesgoda of Le Sueur, MN & Jim (Shari) Lambrecht of Lino Lakes, MN and grandchildren, Sean (Katie) Keane, Liz Fahey, Ellen (Neil) Smith, James Petermeier and Tommy Lambrecht. Great-Grandchildren; James Keane, Nolan Fahey, Madelyn Fahey, Matthew Smith & Kaitlyn Gundmundson, brothers, John Murphy of Forest Lake, MN & James Murphy of Minneapolis, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Richard Lambrecht and Albert Geiser; two grandchildren, Kevin & Nolan Keane. Sister, Jane Gavnik.
