Kathryn E. Swecker

Kathryn E. Swecker, age 73 of Le Sueur, died on Friday morning, February 14, 2020 at Mayo Health System in Mankato, MN.  Memorial services will be private at a later time.

Kathryn was born on September 30, 1946 to George and Evelyn (Christian) Wagner in Le Sueur, MN.  She grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School.  She lived in Le Sueur for many years and worked as a beautician and hairstylist.  She married Darrel Swecker on January 2, 1982 in Le Sueur, MN.    The couple moved to Orange County, CA in the mid-1980’s.  Darrel died on February 20, 2006 and Kathryn moved back to Le Sueur, MN in 2009.

She is survived by her children; Wade Robinson of Le Sueur, Sondra Florian of Murrieta, CA and Darrel Jr, “D.J.” Swecker of Murrieta, CA.  Grandchildren; Nikki (Jeremy) Otto of Arlington, MN; Christopher Florian, Caleb Florian, Carl Payne III, Camille Payne, Jazmine Vargas, Jiselle Swecker, Jesslyn Swecker and Aiden Swecker.   Step-children; Tammy Herzog & Gina Montemore, Step-grandchildren; Victoria Allen, Christian Montemore, Jonah Montemore, Hanna Mason  and Haley Herzog.  Brothers; Lyle Wagner of Le Sueur and Harold (Shirley) Wagner of Le Sueur.

She is preceded in death by her husband Darrel and son, Christopher Robinson and brother, Alvin Wagner.
