Kenneth A. Nyblom

August 17, 1942 — September 16, 2016

Kenneth Albert Nyblom, age 74 of St. Peter and formerly of LeSueur, Minnesota died on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley. He was born on August 17, 1942 in Mankato to Albert and Mavis (Hagerman) Nyblom. Kenneth entered the U.S. Navy Reserves in 1959 and was in active service from 1962 to 1965. He married Monica Mans on September 7., 1963 at St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Peter. He worked with his father trucking steel products and later worked in sales at Expressway Ford and later Wolf Motors in LeSueur. He was an avid bowler and served as President of the Minnesota Bowling Association. He also enjoyed golf and playing cards. He is survived by his wife, Monica of St. Peter, Son, Peter Nyblom of Topeka, KS Grandson, Aidan Nyblom of Minneapolis Siblings, Darlene (Robert) Briest of The Village, FL, Darryl (Muriel) Nyblom of Belle Plaine and Bradley (Jeanie) Nyblom of LeSueur. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeannette Rienstra. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 4 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday..
