Kenny was born June 12, 1932 in Glencoe, Minnesota to Arnold and Marilla (Timm) Narr, the oldest of six children.  He was raised on the family farm in Jessenland Township near the shores of Silver Lake.  Kenny graduated from Arlington High School on June 1, 1949, before his 17 th birthday.  While he was in high school, he was active in sports including football and basketball.  He married Millie Gahr in October 1958 and they lived on a farm near Arlington.  They had four children.  Kenny milked cows, raised livestock, and farmed for many years on both the Jessenland and Arlington farms until his physical health slowed him from the farming operation.  He truly enjoyed deer hunting and many other kinds of hunting during his life and had many pictures and mounted antlers to “show off” his trophies.  He was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where he served as an usher and was on many committees and board leadership over the years.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Ronald.  He is survived by his wife, Millie, his children Kristie Moldenhauer of Chaska, Kathy (Ken) Wagner of Belle Plaine, Brian Narr of Arlington and Julie (Al) Fortman of St. Bonifacius, six grandchildren, Michael (Missy) Wagner, Tony Wagner, Brett (Kristen) Moldenhauer and Collin Moldenhauer, Gabby Fortman and Ivy Fortman, and four great grandchildren, Izzy, Everett, Madi and Jack. He is also survived by siblings Darlene Boehne of Henderson, Gloria Williams of Bronte, TX, Jerry (Ruth) Narr of Henderson, and Wendy (Curt) LeNoue of Battle Lake, Minnesota and many nephews and nieces.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Croix Hospice, 7755 3 rd St. North, Oakdale, MN 55128.  Donations will be directed to the St. Croix Hospice Mankato office which provides care to Sibley County or donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, if preferred.
