Kent Edward Loose

Kent E. Loose, age 67 of Le Sueur, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from injuries sustained in a gardening accident.

Kent was born on August 24, 1958, in Le Sueur, MN to Milo and Carol (Rethwill) Loose. He grew up in Le Sueur and attended Le Sueur High School. After high school, he enlisted and served in the US Army.

He worked many years in the maintenance department at Le Sueur Inc. until his recent retirement.

Kent is survived by his sons, Ryan Loose of Henderson, MN, Nick Loose of Le Sueur, MN, and Jesse (Jenny) Loose of Waconia, MN; grandchildren, Dayson, Tristin, Kailey, Chloe, Damion, Kolten, Lincoln, Lennox, and Ava; siblings, Mary (Duane) Tiegs of Henderson, MN, Beth (Jay) Barrof of Tampa Bay, FL, Gail McConkey of Landrum, SC, Lynn Rydberg of Tampa Bay, FL, sister-in-law, Linda Loose of Le Sueur, MN; girlfriend, Pam Newhouse of Le Sueur, MN and sons, Cody (Asmita) Koenig of Fridley, MN and David Koenig of St. Peter, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glen, Gary, Eric and Kirk; niece, Zetta; and Daughter-in-law, Heather.
