Kerry Wayne Hadrath, 78, of Arlington, Minnesota passed peacefully in his home on June 8, 2023.
Kerry was born on July 11, 1944, to Roland and Luella Hadrath in Montevideo, Minnesota where he grew up with two brothers, Ronnie and Roy.
For most of his life, he drove truck. Whether over the road, for construction, hauling gas, or food he enjoyed trucking. But he was especially fond of retirement!
Kerry was active all his life. There was a lot of time spent at the lake waterskiing, he played racquetball, was a member of softball and bowling leagues and golfed. He was still actively golfing this year. In his later years, the importance of staying active kept him moving. He walked on a daily basis, whether outside during the nice weather or on his treadmill. He shook dice every Saturday with a group of friends and put many a puzzle together with his family of friends in the building he lived in. He also enjoyed going to all types of racing, from dirt track races to drag races to watching NASCAR on TV. He loved spending time with family and friends and was always good for a laugh.
Kerry was a dog lover. His favorite breed was German Shepherds. So naturally he loved his daughter’s German Shepherd, Max. He would dog sit when his daughter and son-in-law went on vacation. Some might say it was one of his favorite things to do.
Kerry is survived by his daughter Amy (Rob) Rein of Monticello, MN; his brother Ronnie (Carol) Hadrath of Montevideo, MN; many nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his daughter Julia Hadrath, his parents, and brother Roy Hadrath.
