Kevin W. Rau

Kevin W. Rau, age 63 of Henderson, Minnesota died on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 23, 1955 in St. Peter, Minnesota to Wilbur and Alice (Schleeve) Rau. Kevin graduated from Henderson High School in 1973. On June 5, 1976 he married Connie Kroehler at Centennial Lutheran Church in Henderson. Kevin worked road maintenance for Dvorak Construction and later for P.C. I. Construction, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed hunting, being in the outdoors, feeding and enjoying the wildlife, spending time with his family, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Tara (Mike) Fogarty of Waconia, and Taunya (Joe) Kane of Henderson; grandchildren, Abby Fogarty, Corbin Guggisberg, and A. J. Kane; sister, Margo (Dean) Turensky of Lake Crystal as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Emma Fogarty. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Centennial Lutheran Church in Henderson. Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at the Centennial Lutheran Church and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
